If you are a tourist and want to travel through China, you definitely need a transit permit.

I trust you will ride your bikes to Vancouver. We can only ship the bikes in crates. The bikes will have to be very clean and the fuel must be almost drained. Best is to get in touch with Suzuki dealer and ask them to place the bikes back into a bike crate.

The freight charges will be based on the overall volume. I would like to work with about 3.2 cbm/bike.

Here is a breakdown of charges for your perusal: (please note that final invoice will only be made after final measurements have been taken).

1.                Possible pick up or crated bike from Suzuki Dealer, delivery to our terminal in Delta = $275.00

2.                Warehousing = $40.00

3.                Ocean freight in our consolidation from Vancouver to Hong Kong dockside only @ $325.00/cbm x 6.4 cbm = $2,080.00

4.                Dangerous goods surcharge, certificate and labels = $250.00

5.                Vancouver terminals = $95.00

6.                Port security surcharge = $18.00

7.                Green fee = $14.00

8.                CBSA (Canada Border Security Agency formerly known as ‘Canada Customs’) export declaration/couriers/handling = $165.00

Total cost warehouse to port only = CA$2,937.00
